Early this morning on the TV news I heard that there was a medium sized earthquake in southern NZ today or maybe it was yesterday there. Did anyone get hurt
or was there much dammage? There is another big story on the news here in the USA so I can't find anything on the quake.

Wow, you heard about that there?? Really? It was nothing lol... just a litte tremor. Perhaps because building codes are really good here we don't suffer
too badly from these. (However - beware of a big one and it can depend where it is centered) I think the one you heard about was a 4 on the scale and
apparently I should have felt it, as it wasn't too far from Christchurch. But it happened about 4.30 am and I didn't feel a thing - stacking zzzzs.
I read the news headlines here, don't think it caused any damage. Of all the things that I have lost, it's my mind that I miss the most.

Glad no damage was done. At 4:30 I'm sleeping, too! Glad everyone is ok.
