why ??? well i need to fill the car up this weekend and then i need to drive to chch at the end of april so i reckon a small mortgage should just about cover

What? It's gone up that much? It was only $1.72 the other day.

When I first read this thread title I sure thought it was spam again! Wow I'm glad I was wrong. Petro (gassoline) is about $3.10 per galleon here. Not sure
what the exchange rate is though. It is really expensive!

Tonight on our news I heard that it was $9 in the United Kingdom! I think the average is #3.25 or something like that.

What do you do in TeAnau Meatpie? I love that little place. Have often gone through on the way to a tramping adventure. Last down there in September last
year, when we went over to the Holyford area.

What a life... I'm kind of jealous.
Have you been in Te Anau long? I could rattle off a couple of local names... though most have gone from the area these days. Of all the things that I have lost, it's my mind that I miss the most.
