How has everyone been? I'm on vacation from work right now Saffy and won't have to return to the library till June 8th! Yeah!
My brother and his wife are coming in from Alaska in two days. They will be here till June 7, 2009.
It will not be long till I retire you know. My last working day will be Friday, August 28, 2009 while my last day on the payroll will be the 31 of August. I'll just take a day of sick leave then. We can do that on our last day. When I fist started it was a rule that all employees had to be present their last day. However, that is no longer the case. That is great since I need to stay on the payroll through the 31st for TRS rules.
I was hoping to get rid of those ads in my profile by paying for Supporter via check but it does not seem that we can do that. Not sure it was ever an option. Those things have sounds and music and I hate them. So I'll still come here but less often until and if Yuku ever gets there act together. However, Wick. Saffy and others I'll still be on my board. No pesky ads there! I hope the next bersion is not shiped with them either. It will be out soon and I'll get it sometime this Summer. I'll let you know before I do so you won't be shocked when all those lovely backgrounds disappear.
What has everyone here been up to. Oh, Saffy the other day I read in the Fairbanks paper that a mountaineer from there made it to the top of Mt. Everest. Let me see if I can find that story. I couldn't find anything about the climber but you may wish to check out the paper at http://newsminer.com/ anyway. I didn't see anything about their minor earthquake Saturday morning, either.
