Same with my board. Oh how I hate seeing adds. Tried to pay for Yuku Supporter but had trouble with that PayPal stuff. It wanted everything! Stupid PayPal.
Hope it works better tomorrow on e-commerce day! Had a nice quiet day, too.

I know what you mean about the ads ... but if no one comes in and you want to keep it going, there's no point in paying for the board until it picks up I
suppose.
And, PayPal isn't as safe as they say it is. Someone from there obtained my wifes credit card details and started purchasing stuff on eBay with her funds. No she doesn't use either PayPal or eBay.

Oh no! That is just terrible Wick. Did she loose lots of money when that individual used her CC to buy stuff on ebay? I
don't like Ebay either!
The host of my bulletin board has a service now where one can pay their bills using a CC and does not need to go through PayPal. We had to use PayPal before now. I like the new service much better. I wish everone used that option and PayPal or Ebay didn't even exist! Andrea78745 |

I knew whop it was so there was need to apologise. No ... made a $10 purchase and tried for a second time with a $100 purchase, but she found out before it was finalised, and contacted eBay and PayPal and stopped it, but they then accused her of changing her mind. She has since stopped using eBay because, even though you can now use a CC, you must also be registered with PayPal! It's a pain because we have som many books to sell and can't because of the stuff up. My wife also had some grief using her CC elsewhere toward the end of last year. Someone got her CC details and used them to hire a car in England for 2 weeks. It has taken around 4 months to have it all sorted and get the money back from the bank! And people wonder why I don't use CC to pay for thing on the net or do any internet banking! If I make purchases on the net I pay by money order. Sure it takes longer, but it's only an extra two or three days! Besides ... there is no wait for a money order to clear, so dispatch is pretty much instantaneous.

I don't do the internet banking thing either. I do some ecomerce but its mainly for the IPB stuff or my website host. I do purchase some stuff like shoes
for my small feet. That particular shoe store is not in our city or else I'd just go to the Mall and get them. Most stores don't have my size.

There are probably only 2 places that use credit cards over the net ... and they both have bike stuff that I can't get locally, and then only if I'm in
a hurry for the stuff (only have done that once). As I said, money orders are teh usual method of payment for me.
